What are the most effective tricks to control momentum in Stickman Hook?
I’ve been playing stickman hook for a while now, and the one thing I still struggle with is momentum control. Some levels feel smooth, but others just turn into chaos where I either swing way too far or fall short every time.
From my experience, the biggest thing that helps is not holding the hook too long. If I release at the peak of the swing (right before the character starts coming back down), the movement feels way more controlled. When I wait too long, I usually over-rotate and lose direction.
Another small trick I noticed is that shorter swings can actually be more stable than full arcs, especially when hooks are close together. Instead of trying to build maximum speed every time, I sometimes do “half swings” just to reset positioning. It feels slower, but I fail less.
I’m still not sure if this is the “correct” way to play though. Some players seem to just fly through levels with full momentum every swing, so maybe I’m over-controlling it.
Would love to hear how others manage momentum consistently, especially on harder levels.
