Legal Marijuana Pizza Finally Available in Arizona

For years stoners have enjoyed a slice of pizza while getting high. But now they'll finally be able to enjoy pizza that will get them high, at least in Arizona.

Mint Dispensary in Arizona will become the first marijuana dispensary in the United States to offer a full-service kitchen like a regular restaurant. While bakeries or stores selling edibles have always existed, Mint will be the first kitchen making only made-to-order cannabis food products in the United States. The menu will consist of anything from muffins to salad to mac and cheese. There will also be a vegetarian menu, a juice bar and gelato. And, of course, there will be pizza.

The food will be takeout only, so customers will not be able to experience a dine-in cannabis experience. Customers will also need to be registered with Arizona's medical marijuana program as the state still does not allow recreational use of cannabis.

Currently there are over 170,000 registered medical marijuana users in Arizona, and that number continues to consistently grow. The state also sells over 400 pounds of edibles every month, so there's clearly a market for a kitchen like Mint.

Mint says they're also considering exporting the idea to their dispensary in Michigan. Considering that state may legalize recreational marijuana next month, that may become an even bigger deal since you may not need a medical marijuana card to get in.
